Sunday lunch is the heart of the week at The Yew Tree. Since Giuseppe and Farli reopened the pub, the Sunday roast has become one of the most talked about plates in Maidstone, and tables book up quickly week after week.
Choose from a selection of roasts, each carved generously and served with golden roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, a towering Yorkshire pudding and rich homemade gravy. Bring the whole family, settle in, and let us do the cooking.
A family of seven recently called their Sunday lunch here “amazing”, and they are far from alone.
Carefully sourced roasts carved to order, from succulent beef to slow cooked pork and chicken.
Duck fat roast potatoes, seasonal greens, honey roast roots and a Yorkshire pudding on every plate.
Rich, deep and poured generously. The finishing touch that ties the whole plate together.
Sharing sides, a well stocked bar and a pudding menu that is more than worth the extra half hour.

Sundays are our busiest service, and tables go quickly, especially for larger groups. We always recommend booking ahead so you are not disappointed.
